  • ICT @ Schools (e-Vidyalaya)
The programme will provide easy access of technology designed to help students learn beyond regular classroom studies beginning with the set up of ICT Labs. The ICT@school scheme of E-Vidyalaya programme has been started under Odisha Madhyamik Sikshya Mission (OMSM) and operated at 4,000 government schools in the first phase and an additional 2,000 government schools in the second phase will be operated. Special training will also be imparted to 40,000 teachers to help them in using new facilities to their full extent. MISSION is the monitoring agency for this programme for Dhenkanal District. Presently 139 schools have been equipped with ICT Lab and started its function. Each ICT Lab is equipped with high-end integrated computer, interactive smart board, projector, inverter for power back up along with gen sets and audio-visual facilities. The programme was started from 2nd  January 2014.
